THE lorry driver from Middlewich who was involved in a crash on the M62 near Widnes remains in hospital and has multiple serious injuries.

The man, who was involved in a collision with another heavy goods vehicle at around 11.10am on Monday, October 6, had to be cut free from his cabin by firefighters and was taken to Aintree University Hospital.

The Middlewich man is suffering from serious injuries and remains in hospital where he is described to be in a ‘bad way’.

A source told the Guardian: “He will survive, but is currently in a very bad way with multiple injuries.”
