JONES Homes have announced that they are now selling property for their Abbey Fields site in Middlewich.

The property developers have opened a Sales Centre at Abbey Fields, which is situated off Nantwich Road in Middlewich and features 24 properties.

Denise Caldwell, sales and marketing director at Jones Homes, said: “Interest in Abbey Fields, even before we opened, has been incredible and we’re delighted to finally be on site introducing homebuyers to the properties that we are building and taking our first reservations.”

Properties at Abbey Fields start from £265,000 or £212,000 with Help to Buy for the four bedroom Davenham house type.

Jones Homes lists independent shops, bars, restaurants, traditional pubs, and excellent schools as major draws for prospective buyers.

The announcement from Jones Homes comes just a week after residents of Tewkesbury Close, Steven and Gill Molesworth, appeared in The Guardian claiming that workers at the Abbey Fields development were not sticking to the planning conditions.

The residents claimed workers were working late and accessing the site through Glastonbury Drive as oppose to Nantwich Road, as well as blocking elderly residents into their homes, but Jones Homes rejected the claims saying the workers they referred to were service providers.
