SCHOOLS across Middlewich will be affected by the public sector strike action tomorrow, Thursday.
Three schools across the town will be affected with Cledford Primary School closing for the day, while Middlewich High and St Mary's Catholic Primary School will both be partially closed.
Middlewich High will be closed for years seven and ten, with years eight and nine being in school as normal.
Other schools in the Middlewich area such as Middlewich Primary School, Wimboldsley Primary School and Byley primary School, will remain open.
The public sector strike will see workers taking industrial action across all areas of public government including teachers, firefighters, and civil servants.
The strike is due to a range of issues, including attacks on pay and pensions.
