MIDDLEWICH residents interested in adoption are being urged to attend an information evening on Tuesday, July 10.
Council-run group FACE (Fostering and Adoption in Cheshire East) will be holding the event at Cledford South, Long Lane South, at 6pm.
Fostering is where people provide a caring and safe home environment for children and young people, including those who have disabilities and/or challenging behaviour, while their own family is unable to look after them.
Fostering is often a temporary arrangement and many children and young people return to their own families.
It can be done on a full or part-time basis and ranges from short break care to a few months or even on a long term basis.
For more information, call Cheshire East council's Fostering and Adoption hotline on 0300 123 3223 or email fostering@cheshireeast.gov.uk.
