A MIDDLEWICH X-Factor singer was the headline act at the Cheshire East volunteer’s gala.
The event, which was held to celebrate and recognise volunteers from around the region, was on Wednesday, June 4 at AstraZeneca, Alderley Park.
Several acts performed to provide entertainment with Marie-Clare Scott from Middlewich, who made an appearance on the X-Factor, being the main attraction.
The gala was held during national Volunteers Week and 200 volunteers and representatives from charities and community organisations attended.
Lyn Mitchell, from CVS Cheshire East, said: “This was the first volunteer's gala that I have been a part of and I was proud to meet so many warm hearted, inspirational and dedicated people from across Cheshire East.
“We are looking forward to holding another special Gala night next year.”
All attending volunteers received a special, personalised certificate thanking them for their commitment, long service, inspiration, being a new volunteer or personal achievement.
