PUPILS from Wimboldsley Primary School in Middlewich put their French language skills to the test with a visit to France.
Year six pupils from the school set off for the trip over the pond on Friday, May 23, and arrived back in Middlewich on Tuesday, May 27.
The kids stayed in a Chateau in Rue along with pupils from their federated school in Ellesmere Port, William Stockton Primary School.
The children, all aged 10 and 11, went to see how chocolate and goats cheese was made and even tucked into some snails and frogs legs to sample the local cuisine.
The pupils are all taught French at school and were let loose in a supermarket during the trip to test out their language skills.
