A VOLUNTARY group of parents and carers of disabled children in Cheshire East have been given a helping hand from a web marketing agency.

Cheshire East Parent Carer Forum (CEPCF), which provides support for parents and carers of children with disabilities, now boasts a new website and identity after help from Congleton-based Thrive Creative.

The digital specialists from Thrive carried out a brand development, designed a new logo and produced marketing literature to help increase awareness and membership.

The agency also assisted with a successful grant application, which funded the design and build of a new website.

Helen Davies, CEPCF parent lead for communications, said: “We really wanted to reach out further into the community to generate awareness of our group, and provide help and support to as many parents and carers in Cheshire as possible.

“Thrive is very good at what it does and has been professional from start to finish.

The team has been a pleasure to work with and we are very grateful to Cheshire SkillShare for introducing us.”

Cheshire Skillshare, which is a charity that helps bridge the gap between Cheshire’s voluntary sector and businesses, made the connection between the Parent Carer Forum and Thrive.

Dave Powell, Thrive managing and creative director, said: “We are a small company but feel that it is important to engage with the local community.

“It was great to get involved with Cheshire East Parent Carer Forum at such an early stage and we were able to make a genuine difference just by giving up some of our time and skills.”
