PUPILS Daisy Trainor and Sam Gooley helped Eddisbury MP Stephen O’Brien to unveil a new classroom and hall extension.
The classrooms at Sandiway Primary School have replaced aged mobile classrooms which have been removed from the school. Children now enjoy spacious, modern classrooms, group rooms and toilets.
Pupils celebrated the official opening by singing a song to the visitors, raising a toast with glasses of fizzy water and tucking into specially-made cake featuring the school logo.
The refreshments were donated by the Middlewich Morrisons supermarket.
Mr O’Brien toured the school to meet children and staff, and said he was delighted the school had such a wonderful building and high quality teaching.
