MIDDLEWICH Artisan Market will celebrate its first birthday this Saturday.
A day of celebrations is planned, with Alison Roylance Wright from the vision team at Middlewich Town Council organising a treasure hunt for children to participate in.
There will be an energised Zumba and dancercise demonstration at 11.30am, as well as an afternoon open air concert in the Bull Ring showcasing the talents of country music award winner and television personality Steven Doyle.
The concert has been organised in conjunction with Middlewich’s mayor Bernice Walmsley, and will be in aid of St Luke’s Hospice, Middlewich Uniformed Groups, and Middlewich Clean Team.
Vicky Jackson of the Artisan Market said: “Denise and I are incredibly excited that Steven Doyle is joining our celebrations this Saturday, we are privileged that he is showcasing and we are sure that this will be a concert the local people of Middlewich do not want to miss.
“As always we will be featuring more than 50 of the finest local food, drink, art and craft stalls on Wheelock Street but as it’s our first birthday, we have some special treats in store for our visitors.”
Details of the treasure hunt can be found by visiting the town council stall.
