A SPECIALIST bakery has been shortlisted for two awards.
The Foodamentalists gluten free bakery in Wheelock Street has been cooking up a storm with its vegan bread and toasted top mince pies.
It has been nominated in the bread and bread mixes and Christmas category in the Free From Food Awards 2013.
The awards celebrate innovation in the food industry that is free from one or more of the ingredients such as wheat, gluten and dairy which people have an allergy or intolerance to.
Final winners are to be announced by Antony Worrall Thompson at an exclusive party in London on April 16.
Stevan Taylor from The Foodamentalists, said: We are over the moon. We have made some big changes to our business opening our first gluten free high street bakery and being shortlist is the icing on the cake.”
