The “happy Chewbacca” mum has taken the internet by storm – and now she is giggling even more after meeting James Corden and Star Wars director JJ Abrams.

In a new sketch, James helped Candace Payne to recreate her Facebook Live video, which saw her donning the disguise and dissolving into fits of laughter as the mask made roaring sounds.

But this time, James was an irate passenger, demanding to be taken to work.

The exasperated TV host complained: “Right, I know you’re pleased with your purchase but I have got places to go, I have got to get to work, is there any way we can leave now and hurry this up?”

“It’s not me making that noise, it’s the mask. I’m such a happy Chewbacca,” she replied.

James wasn’t won over, hitting back: “You know that doesn’t sound anything like Chewbacca, right? I mean it doesn’t sound like Chewbacca.”

But it was Star Wars Episode VII director JJ Abrams who came to her defence.

Suddenly appearing from the back seat, he said: “I gotta disagree. You know what, that’s an excellent Chewbacca,” before giving her tips on how to make her impression even better.

And as all three put on their masks, they couldn’t help dissolving into fits of giggles – even James Corden.
