A NEW bakery has opened in Lymm specialising in cakes for people with allergies.

Willow Cottage Kitchen cake studio has opened in Star Lane and offers gluten free, milk free, egg free and vegan treats.

The business also caters for specialised diets such as keto (high-fat, low-carb), paleo (nutrient-dense whole foods diet) and the low FODMAP diet (that is said to help people with IBS).

Charlie Nielens, creative director, said: “We are so happy to be based in the lovely village of Lymm, the people are so friendly and supportive and we are honoured to be able to be part of their special family occasions with our handcrafted cakes”.

Willow Cottage Kitchen is an award-winning completely allergen free cake business offering bespoke celebration cakes as well as other teatime snack products.

The company won two bronze medals at this years ‘Free From Awards’.

Charlie added: “Our goal is to make everyone feel special by producing products that are indistinguishable from none allergen free versions.

“Indeed 50 per cent of our customers have no allergies at all.”
