DUE to unprecedented demand from Spice Girls fans across the UK the #SpiceUpLondon exhibition is now going nationwide.

#SpiceUpManchester An Exhibition About The Spice Girls will run from August 24 to September 4 at Manchester Central Convention Centre.

Thousands of items of memorabilia, merchandise from around the globe and hundreds of the Fab Five’s iconic stage costumes will be showcased as part of a celebration of, and tribute to, the biggest girl-group of all time.

Alan Smith-Allison, the curator of the events said, “After the phenomenal reaction to #SpiceUpLondon, and the massive appetite for unapologetic cheesy feel-good fun, the SpiceUp exhibition is delighted to announce the second stop of our UK tour will be Manchester.

"The biggest music exhibition ever has just become the biggest touring music exhibition ever."

Smith-Allison has teamed up with renowned Spice Girls collectors from around the world, including Manchester’s own Guinness World Record holder, artist Liz West, who owns over 5,000 individual items ranging from branded crisp packets and clocks, to the jacket Mel B herself wore to meet Nelson Mandela.

The original Spice Bus which appeared in the smash hit 1999 Spice Girls blockbuster ‘Spice World: The Movie’ will also be making an extra special appearance.

After the filming of the movie was completed, the bus was neglected but the current owners of the bus in the Isle of Wight have been restoring it to its former glory so that it can sit proudly outside the exhibition.

Tickets for the #SpiceUpManchester Exhibition are on sale now and cost £10.

Children under 12 are free.
