DID your family struggle to get tickets for the sell-out open air performance of The Midnight Gang at Walton Hall and Gardens in May?

Well fear not David Walliams fans because the stage adaptation of his bestseller will return to Walton on August 29 and 30. Tickets are expected to go on sale in mid May for the play by Leamington Spa thespians Heartbreak Productions.

A spokesman said: “When everyone else is sweetly sleeping, the midnight gang gather in the middle of the night in the name of magic, mischief, and memory making.”

Heartbreak will also be presenting Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and The Railway Children at Walton on June 13 and 24 respectively.

Expect a playful adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing which Heartbreak are performing for the first time.

For Hero and Claudio it’s love at first sight, while Benedick and Beatrice carry on a charade of witty insults that hides their true feelings. Hearts will be won and lost and won again as war makes way for masked balls, gossip, deception, and true love.

Family tale The Railway Children is about youngsters who live near Giggleswick Station and learn about friendship and compassion from the characters they meet while they attempt to solve the mystery of what happened to their dad.

Families are advised to bring chairs and blankets. Picnic packages are available and there will be a bar but you are also welcome to bring your own food.
